- New Game with Role Playing, Strategy, and Battle Elements Brings Excitement to Mid-Core Mobile Gaming Fans -

San Francisco, CA - October 18, 2012 - GREE today announced the release of Monster Quest, an all-new free-to-play game available exclusively for iOS. Monster Quest™ takes players on an epic adventure to a vast world where they must tame mysterious creatures that have taken over the land. The game, developed by GREE's U.S. studio, is available for free on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

In Monster Quest, players vie to become the most skilled monster trainers in the land by capturing and training over 400 powerful monsters to serve in their armies. As monster empires expand, players will have the ability to fuse monsters together to spawn rare, powerful creatures to serve in their unique and custom armies. Featuring an exciting player-versus-player (PVP) mode, gamers will have the chance to challenge other users in real-time and see who reigns as the ultimate monster trainer. With monsters representing one of eight elements such as earth, wind, ice, and fire — each with their own unique advantages during battle — Monster Quest brings an exciting level of strategy that enhances gameplay. The game features hundreds of challenging quests to complete, a variety of playable classes to choose from, vast terrain to explore, and a home settlement to expand and customize into a thriving monster hub. Players will also enjoy ongoing content updates offering new features and enhancing gameplay experience.

"From casual to mid-core games, our mission is to continuously expand our content offering to provide deeply entertaining experiences to all types of mobile gamers around the world," said Kenneth Chiu, SVP, Game Studio, GREE International, Inc. "In Monster Quest, the talented members of the team that brought us Crime City, Modern War, and Kingdom Age have created a smooth, high performance game that uniquely ties fantastic art with a deep single player experience and high quality PVP interactions."

Monster Quest fans can enjoy a variety of social features, including facing off against other players, invading and attacking fellow monster trainers, and connecting with other users.

Monster Quest is available for free from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
